Lombard Farm near Fowey offers two, family friendly self catering houses and a cosy cabin all year round, and wonderful yurt in the summer months.
The blue house, painted in shades of blue and white, has a sunny Greek feeling and is spacious and open-plan with high ceilings, exposed beams, good comfy sofas and a wood-burning stove.
The red house has the same spacious, fresh design and a warm, Moroccan feel.
Both these converted houses are contemporary and spacious whilst staying true to their original structure using local materials such as English oak and Cornish slate. They are cool in summer and with underfloor heating and wood burners, warm in the winter.
The orchard yurt, is set in a secluded corner of the orchard, protected by mature trees and has views over the meadow down to the river and the orchard cabin is tucked away with its own decking and garden.
The yurt and cabin have the use of the Link; a large warm room with underfloor heating, enormous warm showers, washing machine, drying room, fridges freezers for each family, WiFi, and an extra area for cooking.
The yurt and cabin sit on their own, solid wooden bases, and with wood burning stoves they are warm and dry whatever the weather outside! They have colorful rugs underfoot and yet the grass is just one step away. Paradise!
There is a lovely wooden hot tub, hammock, five acres of grounds to stretch your legs and plenty of outside seating and parking.
When you arrive you will find fresh flowers and a bottle of Cornish Apple juice to help you recover from your journey!
